Delete Your TruFitAI Account
You can delete your TruFitAI account and its data at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, the limited records we are required to keep, and how to request it.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
The quickest way to delete your account is directly in the TruFitAI app:
- Open the TruFitAI app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address on your account and we will process the deletion for you, typically within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all of the data we hold about you, including:
- Your profile, goals, and preferences
- Generated workout and diet plans
- Food, water, workout, and progress logs
- Progress photos and body-composition analyses
- Chat history and coaching memory
- Fitness points, streaks, and leaderboard entries
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Your personal data cannot be recovered.
A few records are kept only because the law requires it: consent and transaction records (including auto-renewal consent, retained for up to 3 years and at least 1 year after cancellation under California law), billing records required for tax purposes, and anonymized, aggregated data that can no longer identify you. Everything else is removed within 30 days.
About your subscription
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play. To stop future charges, cancel your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings before deleting your account. We retain the billing and consent records the law requires us to keep, as described above.
